How the Big Hearted Mavericks Society Works

The Big Hearted Mavericks Society is the charitable arm of the Mavericks community, established to support children-focused organizations across Calgary and surrounding areas.

Rather than operating programs directly, the Society identifies, evaluates, and funds trusted nonprofit partners who are already doing critical work on the ground. This approach allows us to maximize impact, reduce administrative overhead, and ensure donations reach the communities that need them most.

Every organization we support is carefully reviewed, aligned with our mission, and accountable for the outcomes made possible through our funding.
